Booking Information
▪ What payment methos do you accept?
Cash/ Twint/ credit & debit cards/ PayPal/ invoices

▪ When should I book group lessons?
We recommend booking as early as possible to ensure there is still space in the course or ski instructors available for private lessons.

▪ What languages are available for lessons?
Group courses are offered in German and English. For private lessons, other languages may be available depending on the instructor.

▪ Do the course days in a weekly package have to be consecutive?
Yes. If you book 3 days, they must be on consecutive days (e.g. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). If you wish to book non-consecutive day (e.g. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday), you will need to book them separately as a 1-day and 2-day package.

▪ Do I get a discount if I add more days later?
Discounts are only available for multiple consecutive days booked together. Past lessons cannot be retroactively added for a discount!

▪ Are course tickets transferable?
No, course tickets are personal and non-transferable.

▪ Can private lessons be split between participants?
No, private lessons cannot be devided between participants. You can book a private lesson for multiple people, but the lesson will be conducted together!

▪ Can I choose my instructor?
You may request a specific instructor for private lessons, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

▪ Do you accommodate group requests?
We are happy to consider group requests. If the children are at the same skill level, we will try to keep them together. If their abilities differ, group requests cannot be guaranteed.

▪ Will I get a refund if I or my child doesn’t enjoy the course?
No, we do not offer refunds if you or your child are dissatisfied. If you are unsure, we recommend booking just one day or one hour first – additional lessons can always be booked later.

▪ Can I cancel a course?
Yes, courses can be canceled. Please refer to our General Terms & Conditions for cancellation terms and fees: GTC »

▪ Do I need a lift pass?
Yes, if you don’t already have one. Lift passes are available at the Pizolbahn. For some courses, you can buy them through us. Children under 6 years do not need a lift pass.


About the Lessons
▪ At what age can my child start ski or snowboard lessons?
⇒ Ski: From 3.5 years old for group lessons. Younger children can join MuKi VaKi or book private lessons.
⇒ Snowboard: From 6 years old for group lessons. Younger children can join private lessons.

▪ How will I recognize my instructor?
All our instructors wear red. Your instructor will meet you at the agreed meeting point.

▪ Punctuality?
Arrive 10 minutes early! On the first day of group or weekly courses, please arrive 30 minutes before the lesson starts. During peak season or in good weather, factor in traffic, ticket lines, and lift queues to avoid delays. Lessons start on time, and instructors cannot wait for late arrivals.

▪ Is the group assignment fixed?
Your child will be placed in a group based on their ability, determined by the registration details and observation on the first day. Instructors may adjust group placement during the week based on progress. Please respect their decision - they have a trained eye for correct placement.

▪ Do lessons take place in bad weather?
Yes, lessons are held in all weather conditions. Check our homepage after 8:15 AM daily for updates on possible weather cancellations.

▪ When is the race?
In weekly courses, the ski race is held on Friday morning. For other group courses, the race takes place on the final day.

▪ Do I need to notify you if my child can’t attend?
Yes, please inform us, or the instructor.

▪ How can I make it easier for my child to start lessons?
Leave your child with the instructor during lessons so they can forma connection. Watch from a distance so your child’s attention stays on the instructor. Be patient - early progress may take time as your child adjusts to snow and equipment.



Equipment
▪ What equipment is required?
Skis or snowboard with properly fitted boots, a suitable ski suit, gloves, and a well-fitting helmet with ski goggles.
Without proper equipment, lessons cannot take place. Equipment can be rented nearby. A valid lift pass is also required.

▪ Where can I rent equipment?

▪ Do I need a lift pass?
Yes, without a valid pass lessons cannot take place. For some courses you can add the lift pass to your booking.
For beginners (up to Blue King/ Queen level), a beginner’s pass is sufficient; otherwise, we recommend a day pass.
Children under 6 do not need a lift pass.

▪ When are ski poles be needed?
Poles are introduced at Red League level. Your instructor will inform you when poles are needed. No poles are required on the first day.

▪ Is a helmet required?
Yes, helmets are mandatory. Without a helmet, lessons cannot take place.

▪ Is sun protection important?
Absolutely. Sunlight reflects off snow, increasing UV exposure, which can cause snow blindness and severe sunburn. Always apply sunscreen and wear ski or sunglasses.

▪ Do I need to bring a snack?
No, we take a short break mid-lesson and provide a drink and small snack. Please inform us of any allergies.

Which level is correct?

▪ What should I do with the Swiss Snow League booklet?
Give it to your child to bring to lessons so the instructor can fill it out. The booklet also helps you register your child for the correct level.

▪ What if I forget the booklet?
No problem - we will copy the relevant page for you to paste in later.

▪ What if the booklet is lost?
⇒ It can be purchased again from us. Our system records who have already received one.

▪ When will my child receive a booklet?
The first time your child attends a 5-day course, they will receive a booklet on the final day.

▪ Where can I get pins for the Swiss Snow League levels?
Once the level is completed and recorded by the instructor, pins can be purchased from us.
